Parkhurst has formed a nonprofit—Art,
Music and Philanthropy Organization

queer culture and creativity within LGBTQIA community within
Southern California. Currently this is a grassroots DIY organization
however we are working on obtaining an official 501(c)(3) status for
The AMP Organization which eventually will be responsible for CPRR and
other queer events. The AMP Organization: Art, Music and Philanthropy,
was formed in 2010 and will focus on supporting, promoting and
empowering the talented people within the LGBTQQIA community.

HERE. Cut&Paste Rock&Roll is dedicated to supporting
the young people in the Long Beach and greater areas that are passionate about music, art and
community service. We celebrate the talents and diversity of the LGBTQQIA people and
through this scholarship hope to inspire and enrich the next generation of leaders in our
community. There are only 2 simple requirements to qualify for the money:
1) Current High School or College student (ages 15 to 24 years old)
2) Active member of the LGBTQQIA community (groups, clubs, organizations)

to 3 LGBTQQIA students who are passionate
about queer music, art and community.
Deadline is MARCH 5, 2010.
